Project Furever Home

A Place Where Hearts Can Heal, Human & Dog Alike

2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue’s goal is to raise $500,000 to have a permanent facility, on at least four acres of land, with multiple play yards and a building for healing, celebrating, grooming, boarding and short-term housing for our rescue dogs. There is a huge need for ailing and senior dogs that will never find a forever home but need us as their forever family.

We need your financial support to reach our goal.

This is Our Story.

Project Furever Home

When medical treatment becomes too expensive or when that “cute” puppy isn’t so cute any more, many dogs are abandoned to high-kill shelters. These dogs have little chance of ever leaving the shelter. Many die alone on a cold, steel table. It’s these animals that need your help. A safe place where they won’t go hungry or be neglected. As an all-foster and volunteer network, our rescue has grown to a place where our vision has outgrown our homes.

Please join us in our efforts to give the dogs of 2nd Chance their Furever Home.

You can be a part of making our vision a reality.

To reach our goal of $500,000 we need your help. Please make a donation today using our simple online donation form or contact us to make a monthly or multiyear pledge.

In 2010, we took in our first pup. Since that time, we have rescued over 1,000 dogs from high-kill shelters and placed them in forever homes. Our mission is to provide homeless and abandoned dogs with a second chance and a brighter future by placing them with foster families while finding them a forever adoptive home.

Our process for placement is thorough and has strict policies to ensure all our dogs go to homes that will be theirs for the rest of their life.

Rescuing a dog has rewards beyond imagination. While you may spend some sleepless nights with a sick dog or lose a shoe to a playful puppy, you gain an immense sense of satisfaction that YOU have made a difference. We have witnessed people, in the depths of despair, find their way back to happiness due to the love of a dog! We have listened to them speak about their new companion with such joy and love and we realize we do not just rescue dogs, we rescue people, too.
